Home Show 2013 is in full swing! Today I’m showing you some more of the beautiful stuff available there. I love the Sydney sofa by Mudhoney, mixed here with the Healy ottoman and Heike end table by DIGS. The shelf, lamp and vases are by ~BAZAR~. In the background you see the Sydney chest and the Wire Wall Flower by Mudhoney and art from ~BAZAR~, from the Toronto study set.

The sewing machine, stuff crate and Mannequin are by Kuro, the chair and floor lamp are from the Toronto Bedroom Set by ~BAZAR~, as is the blackboard which is from the Toronto Study Set.

The bed, bed table, books and bed lamp are from the Toronto Bedroom Set. The mirror is from Zinnias.

The lovely Vintage Office Set is from !! Follow US !! while the clothing rack and decorations are taken from the Toronto bedroom set again.

Looking outside, you’ll see the garden shed by L’aize Dayz. The Retro TV is from Culprit, the pouffe by End of Daze.

the art of waiting

“Meet me at the Lake House”, he had said. “Here’s the key, I’ll probably won’t be there until the afternoon.” “Okay”, I said. It’s peaceful and beautiful at the lake. At late afternoon, he was still not there.

I decided to read a little, but I couldn’t concentrate. The sun slowly dipped down behind the hills.

When darkness finally fell, I took a hot shower to ease my muscles. I worried a bit. Could someting have happened to him?

I lighted the candles and lay down on the big, comfortable bed. The sheets smelled of summer. Suddenly, the mobile beeped. A text. “Chinese or pizza?” I smiled.

This is my lovely new home from +NODe+! I especially love the little walled veranda and pond – there’s a rain system coming with the house, it’s so peaceful! You should visit the SLOW sim, where all +NODe+ houses are on display, as well as a lot of small shops whose items are featured in this post, like { ililo } and Bitter Vanilla. { ililo } is rebranding as +ILO+, a lot of the older stuff is available at reduced prices and will vanish soon, so go grab it now! my winter hideout

Beware, extremely long and picture-heavy post ahead! 😀

Okay, so I live on mainland, at a beautiful coast, and I love my land dearly… but, of course, there’s no landlord changing the ground-texture to snow for me! I decorated my little shop for winter, but somehow, that was not enough. Luckily I had prims to spare, so up went another Turnip’s skydome – there’s a free update available, don’t miss out on it if you own an older model of the dome! – and here it is, my winter hideout…. hope you enjoy!

I sincerly hope I have credited everything… if you see something and are not sure where to get it, let me know! The house from ++HY’s++ is originally a shop building, with an open entryway in the room where I put my bed. I added a sliding door, and I also re-textured the floors.
